91 Days CD Collection + Delayed Review & Episode 13

The Anime Edition of the 91 Days anime opening theme, Signal by TK from Ling Tosite Sigure and the limited edition of the ending theme, Rain or Shine by ELISA! Truthfully I got these back when they first came out… I just forgot to make a post about them. Didn’t realize until it got here that the limited edition of the ending single came with a 91 Days poster. Gotta get that framed! ❤
I also have the original soundtrack that I got back when it came out, but I don’t have an image of it. /shot

Now for the main purpose of this post. So originally I was going to post the review (yeah, I know it’s REALLY late), but lately I heard word of an un-aired 13th episode of the anime that is set to be released in May. I think it’s for one of the BD releases. The official site lists it as ‘coming soon’. Not sure if it’s going to be a recap, or if they are going to reveal to us just what happened at the end. So until that comes out… my 91 Days review will be on hold.

I have mixed feelings on this upcoming 13th episode. On one hand, I’d love for confirmation on that ending, but on the other it just ruins the imagination. Really though, since I don’t completely enjoy open endings that allow viewers to interpret their own theories on what happened, I am more open for an episode that continues the story. Especially since, well… I don’t know about others, but for me, it still felt like something was missing. Kind of like it just wasn’t a real ending. If it does turn out to continue where it left off, I think the way they spaced out the release and eventually revealed that there was more to it, was a nice touch and fitting. It lets viewers depict and theorize, before the “true” ending is revealed. Again though, we don’t know yet if it’s a recap or not. But honestly though, it’s not me wanting it to be a continuation, but it just seems unlikely to be a recap. It could be, but it’d be a dumb/pointless move. It’s like when companies make those annoying recap movies for a series. I can see it if it’s a long series and you’re in the middle of it, but not at the end of a short, one cour anime. The official site also lists it as “Episode 13”, so the chance of it being a little side story that took place midway in the series is… not unlikely, but I still can’t see that possibility. In that case, wouldn’t it just be an OVA or something? Bottom line, my prediction is as follows: 50% – Continuation, 20% – Recap, and 30% – Side Story.

Hopefully we’ll know what “Episode 13” will be come May 2017. So in the meantime, I’d love to hear what you guys think “Episode 13” will be. Do you think it’ll continue where episode 12 left off, or will it be a recap or a side story? It’s fun to see what other people’s take on it is. 🙂

91 Days Upcoming Review + Nanbaka

Okay so, to start off, the 91 Days review… I’m freaking broken after watching 91 Days, guys. Don’t get me wrong I LOVED it! It’s just… that ending. Not to spoil anything, but guys, that ending left a hole in my heart that will probably never be filled. It was so great, but at the same time I’m over here flipping tables. Which by the way, also happens to be the reason why I haven’t posted the review yet. (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

Now, the review is almost complete, there are just some things that I have to finalize. But one thing I like to do when it comes to reviewing anime that just went off the air, is re-watch it. That way I can catch anything I miss, because let’s face it, one episode per week and you tend to forget shit. ┬─┬ ︵ /(.□. \)

Apart from that… well let’s just say that ending really did mess me up, and even after re-watching the series, I’ve had to let it all sink in while I go cry in the corner to process it all. Bottom line, I will be posting the review sometime tomorrow. Delayed till Monday… -_-

Now on to the next topic:

Well first off, I think it’s a given that I’ll be doing a review on the anime later, but that isn’t what I’m discussing about Nanbaka right now. I’m the founder of the Nanbaka Wiki, and basically, we are in dire need of assistance. We need more contributors.
